This is a great traditional appetizer for shabbat and group dinner but I have to admit that we also eat it during the week because chickpeas are full of nutrients and great after workouts!
My hummus recipe is here and you’ll just have to add what’s below for the topping.
You’ll get a very creamy and delicious hummus that can be frozen if you make too much!
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 3 tbsp of paprika
- 3 tbsp of cumin
- 2 garlic gloves
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 2 tbsp of almond oil
- Heat the oil in a large sautéed pan. Minced garlic and drop into the pan.
- Drain the chickpeas and pour into the pan.
- Pour paprika, pepper, salt and cumin.
- Cook for 3 minutes on high heat while mixing.
