Inspirational books are by definition reading that gave me some motivation and influenced me to become a better version of my self. Three years ago, when I became very health conscious, I started my education by reading articles and books.
You will find below a few of my inspirational books and I’ll update the list frequently with my new lectures.
Inspirational Lifestyle Books
Kimberly Snyder’s book was one of the first one I read. Then I bought all of them. Recently, she wrote an amazing and very inspiring book with the Dr. Chopra. I don’t follow by the book everything she says but her words and advice helped me to achieve many goals and to also have a healthier lifestyle than I used to be. She made me understand a lot about how and why I have some reactions. I wish I could do more yoga but I recently started to meditate and I really love it.
The Whole30 diet is absolutely amazing. The book “It Starts With Food” explains everything about why you should detox from sugar and how. It’s very motivational! After doing a full salt and sugar detox, I am way more sensitive to over salty and sugary food I eat and especially in restaurants!
Angela Liddon is amazing! Her book is so beautiful and so well illustrated, you don’t even realize it’s vegan! She has a picture for every recipe, which I really like, I almost never make recipe from a book that doesn’t have picture! You’ll get super inspired from her book with all her easy everyday recipes.
I find this book very fun and cool because it’s all about the stereotypes people have about vegan foodies. I used to think vegan people are so weird and they are so anti-social because of their very difficult diet but it’s actually not true! You have so many opportunities to cook delicious meals with vegetables, beans, nuts and tempeh/tofu! It’s also funny because the author used to say she would never go vegan and here she is!
This is the cookbook for the whole 30 diet. Very useful for everyday and to give you some idea for home cooking.
